THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM OF A DEFECTIVE BATTERY IN A NEW CAR (2,300 MILES) WAS OVERLOOKED/MISDIAGNOSED DURING THE INITIAL DEALERSHIP DIAGNOSIS FOUR DAYS PRIOR TO THE SECOND DIAGNOSIS. THIS WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT AND RESULTED IN A NEW CAR BEING UNAVAILBLE FOR USE. THE DEALERSHIP INFORMED ME THAT AUTOMOBILE BATTERIES ARE NOW REQUIRED TO "PERFORM MORE SERVICES" DUE TO THE MYRIAD OF ELECTRONICS IN NEW AUTOMOBILES, BUT THAT AUTOMOBILE BATTERY TECHNOLOGY HAS NOT MAINTAINED PAR WITH THESE NEW REQUIREMENTS. THUS, THIS COULD BE PROBLEM FOR CONSUMERS WHO DO NOT DRIVE THEIR CARS FREQUENTLY. THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR EITHER DIAGNOSIS OR THE AUTOMOBILE BATTERY REPLACEMENT (PER WARRANTY). THE DEALERSHIP PROVIDED GREAT SERVICE ON A DEFECTIVE NEW GMC PRODUCT, WITHOUT HESITATION. QUIRK HAS A HIGH QUALITY STAFF OF PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE EAGER TO SERVE CLIENTS.
