Quirk Bangor Employees Support Hirundo Wildlife Refuge's Earth Day Community Science Day

Quirk Auto Group's Bangor-area employees were proud to support Hirundo Wildlife Refuge, a nature preserve dedicated to conservation, outdoor recreation, and environmental education in the Old Town and Alton area.

The donation helped support Hirundo's Earth Day Community Science Day, held April 25 at Old Town Elementary. Families met scientists and conservationists from across Maine — including partners like the University of Maine, the Maine Forest and Logging Museum, Penobscot Nation DNR, and the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife — and explored hands-on ways to get involved as community scientists.

We're proud to help Hirundo continue connecting Maine families with the natural world right in our backyard!
