Quirk Chevrolet GMC Rockland Delivers Pet Supplies to PAWS

The team at Quirk Chevrolet GMC of Rockland recently loaded up a vehicle with essential pet supplies and delivered them to PAWS Animal Adoption Center in nearby Camden. The donation included food, toys, bedding, treats, and other necessities that help keep shelter animals comfortable while they wait for their forever families.

Why PAWS Matters

As a no-kill shelter celebrating 50 years of service, PAWS goes above and beyond for animals in need:

• Serves 12 coastal Maine communities from their Rockport shelter
• Provides medical care, behavioral support, and adoption services
• Transports animals from southern high-kill shelters, giving them second chances in Maine
• Operates wellness clinics, spay/neuter programs, and a pet food pantry

One recent PAWS success story is Alfie — a dog who made the long journey from Georgia to Maine and found his forever home through P.A.W.S. Stories like Alfie's are exactly why this organization exists: to give every animal, no matter how far they've traveled or how long they've waited, a chance at the love and safety they deserve.

Supporting organizations like PAWS is part of who we are at Quirk. We're proud to call the Midcoast home, and we're grateful for the dedicated staff and volunteers who make PAWS a beacon of hope for animals in need.
