Quirk Chevrolet Portland Employees Support The Family Restored
Addiction doesn't happen to one person. It happens to everyone who loves them — and for a long time, those family members had almost nowhere to turn.
The Family Restored started in 2011 as a small support meeting in Portland, run by people in recovery who kept hearing the same thing from families: we don't know what to do, and we can't afford help. The group became a 501(c)(3) in 2014 and has been answering both halves of that ever since — family support groups and 12-step workshops on one side, scholarships that pay for treatment and recovery housing on the other. Today they run meetings in Portland, Falmouth, and South Portland, plus two sober living residences.
On April 9, 2026, the team at Quirk Chevrolet Portland presented The Family Restored with an employee-funded donation. Every dollar came from employees who chose to give.
Recovery is slow, unglamorous work, and the people doing it rarely get a spotlight. We're grateful for the chance to support an organization creating real change for Maine families — and for the team at The Family Restored, who show up for those families every single week.
