Quirk Ford Augusta Employees Donate $1,000 to Bread of Life Ministries

Bread of Life Ministries has spent more than four decades doing the quiet, steady work that holds a community together. Their downtown soup kitchen on Water Street serves between 100 and 150 meals every weekday. Their shelters on Hospital Street provide beds for families, individuals, and veterans, with case managers working alongside residents toward housing, education, and employment. And more than a hundred housing units across Augusta keep people in homes of their own.

On May 26, 2022, the team at Quirk Ford Augusta presented Bread of Life with a $1,000 donation funded entirely by employee contributions. The donation supports the whole of what Bread of Life does — food for people who are hungry, shelter for people who need it, and hygiene items that are easy to overlook until you go without them.

Bread of Life Ministries does nothing but support their community, which is exactly why it felt right to support them back. Our employees gave this one themselves, and Quirk Ford Augusta is proud to stand behind an organization that gives so much to so many of our neighbors.
