Quirk Ford Augusta Employees Donate $1,000 to the Hallowell Food Pantry

The Hallowell Food Pantry is the kind of organization that makes a small Maine city work. A 501(c)(3) on Second Street, it provides nutrition support to Hallowell neighbors who need it, with a simple goal: help people and families stay independent and keep their dignity while getting access to healthy food.

On May 26, 2022, employees at Quirk Ford Augusta presented the Pantry with a $1,000 donation — the third of three employee-funded donations the store made that day, and one of the organizations the team chose for its 2022 giving.

The crew at the Pantry was beyond grateful, but honestly, the gratitude runs the other direction too. A pantry like this one runs on people who show up week after week for their neighbors, without much fanfare and without being asked. Quirk Ford Augusta is glad to support such a kind group with such a good mission.
