Striking a Match for Maine’s Youth: Quirk Auto Group Sponsors Bowl For Kids’ Sake

At Quirk Auto Group, we aren't just fans of our community; we are defenders of potential.

Last year, we were honored to provide $10,000 to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine through their signature event, Bowl For Kids’ Sake. From the lanes in Bangor and Rockland to Waldoboro, Skowhegan, and Lewiston, our teams came together to support the life-changing power of mentorship.

What does Big Brothers Big Sisters do? They create meaningful, monitored matches between trained volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"). These relationships provide a direct, lasting effect on young people—helping them navigate social and academic challenges while building confidence.

How does "Bowl For Kids’ Sake" help? Every dollar raised helps Big Brothers Big Sisters do their "homework." This includes background checks, interviews, and the careful matching process that ensures a Big and a Little are the perfect fit. It also funds the ongoing professional support provided to the families and volunteers to ensure every friendship is safe and impactful.

We are proud to help ignite the potential of Maine's youth, one frame at a time!
