Augusta Teen Center
Augusta, ME
The Augusta Teen Center is a Boys & Girls Club serving roughly 250 Augusta-area teens in grades 7-12 each year, approximately 98% of whom qualify for free or reduced lunch. Founded in 2000, it is the only organization in the Augusta area offering free after-school programming to these students, along with a summer program, nutrition and cooking classes, teen leadership, and restorative programs run in partnership with local schools, the City of Augusta, and the Augusta Police Department.
A Place to Be When the School Day Ends
Augusta's only free after-school program for teens in grades 7-12 — a safe place, a hot meal, and adults who show up every afternoon.
