Quirk Chevrolet Bangor Hosts Free Car Seat Checkup with Safe Kids Maine
Quirk Chevrolet Bangor opened its doors to families for a Car Seat Checkup event with Safe Kids Maine, offering free, expert inspections of car seats, seat belts, and booster seats right on the lot at 293 Hogan Rd.
The need is real: Safe Kids Maine reports that 9 out of 10 car seats in Maine are installed incorrectly, a problem that touches every family regardless of income, education, or background. A few minutes with a trained technician can catch a mistake before it matters most.
Families who stopped by got hands-on help from Safe Kids Maine's experts, walking away with the confidence that their child's seat was installed the right way. It's the kind of quiet, practical event that doesn't make headlines but keeps kids safer on every ride afterward.
A free hour of expert help that can mean the difference between a car seat that just looks right and one that actually keeps a child safe.
