Quirk Chevrolet Bangor Hosts Free Car Seat Inspection Station with Safe Kids Maine

Quirk Chevrolet in Bangor opened its doors on Saturday, October 19, 2013, for a free car seat inspection station in partnership with Safe Kids Maine, the Maine Chevrolet Dealers Association, Safe Kids Worldwide, and the GM Foundation. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians were on hand from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to inspect car seats and help parents and caregivers learn the proper, safe way to transport children.

No appointment was needed — families could simply stop by 293 Hogan Road in Bangor to have their car seats checked and get hands-on guidance from certified technicians.

Safe Kids Maine is a local coalition of Safe Kids Worldwide, working to prevent childhood injuries through car seat checkups, safety workshops, and community education across the state. Quirk Chevrolet was proud to host and support their work in the Bangor community.
